"I want to ride, of course, it's the Eiffel Tower, you come to Paris, you'll see the Eiffel Tower," complained a British visitor. "I'm upset, I'm not going to lie, I'm upset and it's going to throw away our whole trip, if I'm honest."

"I am very disappointed because we came from Montreal, Canada, we arrived Tuesday morning and we got up this morning at 6 o'clock to see the Eiffel Tower, we were the first to arrive, but it is closed."

The 300 men in the tower have repeatedly organized strikes in recent years, such as pickpocketing and maintenance.
